Vitesse Soccer focuses on providing for the competitive soccer player an affordable opportunity to grow in skill while enjoying play in soccer. 

Vitesse Soccer is conveniently located in Gray, Tennessee in the midst of the Tri-Cities region (Johnson City, Bristol and Kingsport) with easy access by I-26.   At an elevation of 1,500 ft., you are overlooking the glowing hills adjacent to the beautiful surroundings of the Smoky Mountains. 

Programs are individually designed to be challenging based upon the needs and goals as identified by the team.  Whether as a leader, facilitator or in the role of evaluating consultant, Michael Louter, the Director of Vitesse Soccer, will use his extensive experience and skills to support the objective(s) as identified by the coach and team.  Visit for a detailed resume on:

Vitesse Soccer operates a full-sided and two small-sided arena soccer fields; a kicking-wall; soccer tennis court; a club-house facility with kitchen, restroom, showers and laundry; and basic housing for up to 16 players.  Vitesse Soccer will provide all needed equipment includes balls, cones and pennies.  Based upon needs at the time of the camp a near by gymnasium or public fields may be utilized.  Click on the images below for a larger view of the Vitesse Soccer facilities:

We can design programs that are unwinding, educational, conditional or very structural depending upon what the team coordinator (and players) want to achieve with the program.  We always strive for new and groundbreaking activities.  Examples of focus sessions are:  Honing the skill-set; implementing scheme plays; improve cohesiveness through team dynamic activities; learning and establishing team accountabilities with cross-referencing team activities; conditioning; or, playing experience through round-robin games with local teams.

Providing team experiences in addition to the soccer field, Vitesse Soccer can arrange upon request for white-water rafting and overnight camping trips with hikes on the Appalachian Trail or other trails. 

In our region, it is very popular to play ‘Round-Robin Play (RRP).’  This means, three teams will participate in playing against each other.  This is a great way to limit cost and travel while optimizing opportunities for play.  In Fall 2009, Vitesse Soccer had 7 teams varying between the U10 Girls, U10 Boys to U12 Girls and U13 Boys.   There are five other clubs within our Tri-Cities radius continuously seeking competition.  RRP can be played on Saturday, Sunday or both.  To guarantee RRP reservations for a weekend are required two months in advance.

Programs may be scheduled between the period of June 1 through the weekend prior to Thanksgiving (arriving on Friday and departing on Sunday) or for up to two weeks during the school holidays (summer vacation, fall break, etc.). 

Vitesse Soccer follows the core Dutch philosophy of teaching through playing.  Coaches use foremost small-sided games as the platform to encourage the playful, creative and innovative spirit.

With a minimum of eight players and two months booking advance notice, the following prices are in place for the 2010 calendar year. 

• Four nights five days, room/board/coaching, is $300 per player.
• Ten nights eleven days, room/board/coaching, is $600 per player.
• Weekend (come Friday leave Sunday), room/board/coaching, is $120 per player.

The team is required to provide a minimum of two adults as full-time chaperones (one may be the coach).  The expectation is that each team will assure current background clearances for the two designated adult chaperones and Vitesse Soccer is not liable for the actions of the chaperones.

Vitesse Soccer will reimburse the team coordinator that functions as the liaison between the team and Vitesse Soccer with 15% of the revenue from his/her team.

To create a successful camp experience, it is important every participant is at maturity to:

1)      Demonstrate respect at all times.

2)      Be of ‘support’ to each other.

3)      Open-minded and willing to try.
